1. The brush grade of the electrical conductors in the switchgear is basically required to have low resistors and sufficient impact toughness, and no bevel is allowed at the junction. For the connection of electric conductors of medium-sized cables, riveting is common. In the whole process here, on the one hand, it is necessary to select the electric conductor connection pipe with suitable conductivity and impact toughness, and the mutual matching gap between the internal diameter of the crimping joint and the diameter of the wire core connected by the electrode is taken as 0.8 ~ 1.4mm.


2. After the electrical conductor in the switchgear is crimped, the resistance value of its connector and the compressive strength of the copper electrical conductor connector cannot exceed the allowable range, otherwise it will lead to safety risks for the application in the middle and later stages, and even a negative impact on the switchgear of the whole machine.


3. The tightness of the connector and the maintenance of mechanical equipment are the guarantee to ensure the reliable operation of the connector in the switchgear. Therefore, water and moisture should be avoided from penetrating into the connector; In addition, at the connection head, the maintenance groove of the connection head or the concrete maintenance box shall be erected, and sufficient safeguard measures shall be taken.


4. If the cable in the switch cabinet itself has an internal shielding layer, when making the connector, it is necessary to re press the internal shielding layer of the connector of a part of the butt joint electrical conductor, and a part of the internal semiconductor material of the cable needs to be left out when the shielding layer is removed, so that the internal shielding of the connector on the connecting pipe can be connected with each other, so as to ensure the continuity of the internal semiconductor material, and then make the magnetic field strength at the butt joint of the connector evenly distributed.


5. The connectors in the switchgear are shielded with metal materials and grounded. They can be used to test the short-circuit capacity of the transmission cable fault, and shield the interference signal of the magnetic field to the adjacent communication equipment, so as to ensure that the switchgear can maintain a safe operation state for a long time from beginning to end.
